Kids Jamm Yoga with Nubia Henderson
2-3pm

Ages 2-6
Kids Jamm is family yoga class where caregivers and children explore the mind-body connection together. Cultivate moments of calm and create loving energy through music and movement in community with other families. Your kiddos will innately pick up on your cool vibes.

“I Can Just Try” Book Reading & Workshop with author Theresa A. Smith-Hickman
2:30-3:30pm

Ages 3-7
As the smallest girl in her class and ‘in the world’ (so she felt), little Terri had many moments where she thought she couldn’t do most things because she was just too little. She wouldn’t even try until one day her attitude shifted. Terri learned the power of saying “I Can” by just trying.

Arts and Crafts with Live Art Studio

All Ages

Create arts and crafts that celebrate the beauty of Caribbean Carnival.  Arts and Crafts may include mask making and flag design for the entire family to enjoy!

Book Reading & Interactive Comprehension Activities with Jurema Gorham of Burst Into Books!
3-4pm
Ages 4 to 8
Burst Into Books is focused on helping the youth deepen their love of reading by integrating the arts, providing opportunities for them to engage with those connected to the literacy field, and providing a space for them to express themselves.
