LOGAN CENTER RESIDENT PARTNER

The Department of Visual Arts (DoVA) proposes that art is inquiry, & encourages areas of overlap with the many other disciplines represented at UChicago, including history, art history, philosophy, aesthetics, theater, music, and creative writing.

Situated in the UChicago Humanities Division, DoVA presents annual BFA and MFA shows in the Logan Center gallery. The Logan Center also hosts DoVA student studio spaces. DoVA will occasionally host open studios or other public invitations to explore student work. Regular public presentations, lectures, and talks are presented by DoVA’s Open Practice Committee (OPC).
