Sundays, July 13 - August 17, 1 - 4 PM* (*July 27, 5-8pm), Logan Center, Screening Room 201

This July and August, join us for Mothering on Screen, a free film and discussion series. Featuring six films that explore the experiences of black mothers across different decades, landscapes and social contexts, this series will follow the labor of mothering through the popular, critical and experimental terms of black cinema.

Summer programming at the Logan Center is supported by the Jonathan Logan Family Foundation through the Logan Center’s Digital Storytelling Initiative, the Reva and David Logan Foundation, Revada Foundation, the Chill Endowment, and friends of the Logan Center with additional support for the Screening Freedom Film Series provided by the Office of the Provost Diversity & Inclusion 2025 Juneteenth Fund.
